Spent Easter with my father and my aunt in Sierra Madre. Of all the aunts I have, she is the most tolerable, since she has the most liberal sentiment on life. Nowhere near crazy or anything, but the most intellectual of all my father's sisters.
My cousin Carl also came over to the dinner, which is always fun. I went back to his place in Hollywood afterwards, to hang out, to jam. Listened to the new Tool single that was leaked. May 2nd can't get here fast enough. 10,000 Days awaits.
We then went and saw a documentary called
Metal: A Headbanger's Journey. It was a documentary on heavy metal's history, culture, and identity. As a doc, it wasn't very thrilling, but the subject matter more than made up for it. A somewhat objective, somewhat loving look at the most intense music the planet has ever seen. It made me throw up the horns, what can I say?
In other news, VG Cats is
fucked up.
