Notes
It's late/early depending on your world view, and I felt like posting some random notes:
1). This was my last night ever doing inventory ... and I didn't even have to do it. My boss handled it because she was delirious. Huzzah.
2). The background check for my new job had some difficulties verifying my employment (difficulties that were resolved today). I ask, if they can't verify mundane employment from a company like Regal, what the hell can they do?
3). Some random notes on two movies I watched today:
Hedwig and The Angry Inch: Excellent, excellent film. Great music, great fun. If you haven't seen it, and the thought of a movie about an East German transexual punk rocker who has a love-hate relationship with the poor man's Leonardo DiCaprio known as Michael Pitt does NOT scare you, 'flix it. Is that parlance yet? Because it damn well should be.
Final Destination 3: I prescreened it. And it did not disappoint. The Final Destination series is a Dresselhaus family favorite (well, at least the male side of it), and I'm glad to see that as the budgets go down, they can still make interesting death sequences. I'll still contend the first was actually a quality movie, at least as far as teenage horror flicks go. I'm sad to say that the Candyman was not in this one. Candyman is probably my favorite horror film that I've seen. Of course, I haven't seen many.
I should go on a horror binge. Brian, I'm eyeing that Nightmare box set for borrowing.
