Remembrance

Ten years ago we watched a tragic and unnecessary event take place. My grandson wasn't even born yet, but today he watched the video of what took place. It was hard holding back the tears in remembrance of all that we lost on that day, and all that we have lost since.

Hopefully, if the piece of beef I took out of the freezer thaws in time, we will be having a cookout, and a fire in the pit in the back yard today.
