Saving Our Home- Good things for those who try

Well, just got back from the insurance company, and was told what I have to do to save my insurance from being canceled: take down the porch, and put handrails on the back/front entry stairs. Well, we were planning that for this weekend anyway! We will be fine for a little longer, so I am feeling a little more relieved and just a little less stressed. Just gotta make sure that I can get "bulls" to make sure everything is cleaned up and stacked neatly so that the city doesn't take their turn taking a shot at me.

We should be able to reuse about 90% of the wood(here's hoping)for other projects around the house, so the debris removal should be pretty minimal. I might be able to use "Bagster" to get rid of most of the debris, and probably clean up a bit more of the back yard that my sister started on a couple of weeks ago.

Suffice it to say, now that there is some good weather around, I should be able to get a bunch of things done, so long as everyone chips in, and some long overdue cleanup on the property out of the way. If the universe is willing I may see a way to replace some windows before winter.

The most difficult part is getting people to move their butts! Maybe I should call in a retired drill Sgt (or become like one).
