three months of netflix free for me!
i went to a netflix focus group today! i love that the company is so close, it's meant that i've always gotten my new movies within two days of sending them back and get invited to these focus group things all the time. this was the first time i A) was available to go the day they needed people, and B) replied quickly enough that i was able to be fit in! it was fun. they focused on questions about the friends feature and it was interesting to see how other people use the site. i rarely ever go to my "friends" page on netflix, but i think i still gave some useful feedback, heh. the compensation of three free months is REALLY nice. i was going to cancel my subscription when i moved because i most likely wouldn't be able to afford it right away, gettting used to my new budget and all. so, fantastic!
oh yeah, it was soooo weird to see netflix in los gatos, btw. (some of you might know my mountain house experience with typeotori was in the los gatos hills.) the street the building is on is the same street where the auto body shop i took my car was (after the big mountain road accident!)... the shop isn't there anymore though! and right down the street was my old therapist's los gatos office. ahhhhhh, memories... like the corners of my crazy mind... ;) anyway.
