The fluidity, the interjections of Dino's speech, the way Hibari seems to exist only through Dino's words to him at this moment = ♥

This is so pure in its violence, and says more about his relationship with Dino than most straight-up pairing fics for them. Bravo. <3

Mm, yes precisely. This writing style isn't very characteristic of me, because of the complete lack of introspective. There's a line or two of thought, but most of it is in Dino's words. I'm so glad that the effect got through to you. =DDD

I-I love your characterization of Hibari the most, it's so very like him and just fjaldkjg the way you portrayed sort of a beast-like quality to him ;;; yesss go go kyouya ;w;

I loved how you portrayed Hibari, that nonchalant sort of atmosphere as he just licks off blood and everything, then Dino's voice slipping in and it's just the right words and at the right time, Hibari's effort trying to drown it out while he's just... well mincing through all the... meat... o.O; I thought it might be something like Dino getting married but didn't think it was the famiglia that had tried to ruin his wedding...

I love how you never actually said anything completely direct and never got it all sweet yet at the end, when it's sort of revealed, I can feel for Hibari but still see the proud battle maniac skylark. Did any of that make sense? I gotta stop rambling when I just woke up.

The ending is meant to be a surprise. =DDDDD Because in the end no matter how much Hibari is trying to drown all of that out, the fact remains that he's still doing this for Dino's sake.

Mm, thank you! I'd really like to think that I've refined my characterisation of him since the very first fic I wrote. xD And yes, it is like him to quietly protect Dino, no matter how betrayed he feels about the situation.

That I tried to achieve with the memories of the ring, the phone, and when Hibari is getting rid of the men around the boss. The rest of it is really just these incessant memories, of a lover calling your name, of what Dino always tells Hibari. What's also special is that Dino is the only one who calls Hibari 'Kyouya', which is what I'm also trying to bring acorss but apparently fails. xDD

That's an interesting thought. Hmmm... I chose the present tense because I like the sense of immediacy when it's used. But, hmm.,..

It's not really showing his despair. He doesn't know how to deal with all of this, and most of all he's angry. He doesn't want to be reminded of Dino to the point of near desperation, yet at the same time all of this he's doing in the fic is for Dino's sake. xD
