... Eliot is actually good with his shorter poems. I just hate his style for the long ones. And lmfao. I need to read Eliot's original draft, i.e. before Pound gets his grubby hands on it, before I can judge if he made it better or worse. fffff AH WELL

I've only read The Waste Land and like. Won't read his work anymore ;; *CLINGS TO BLAKE FOR DEAR LIFE* I don't actually think the original draft exist anymore. Something like 40 lines were cut - maybe more :(

FFFFF INR????? |D /gives up on Eliot. |D Gawd. We did Plath last week. And. 4srs. Ii EMAILED my tutor saying I didn't want to participate because I suffer with depression and have weekly counselling for it, but then he ended up picking on me in the discussion anyway.

When the hour was up I had to run off and cry, I even nearly threw up because Plath brings too much up for me. Especially with how it seems like it's men that's driven her to the edge and i know that feeling far too well :(

/HOLDS Yea I know. Plath is hell to analyze because she's always about emotions, emotions, emotions. Sometimes at the end she stuffs in some meaning but for her, the poems are always cathartic, so the reader gets the full brunt of all of her emotions. sfgdsh it's so hard to wade through it sometimes. aaaaargh

/CLINGS Yeah D: It was for her really, not the world, which is why it pisses me off that it's getting analysed like that. I write poetry when things get too much - just to get it out and I'd be so upset and horrified if I knew it was published without my permission :(
