Name and/or Nickname: Amy, also known by Amy Dee(der), Amykins, Thee, Theo, Woman, Fatkid, Fatcakes McGee, Big Dawg Amy, etc.
Age: 20, born June 17th, 1985.
Likes: Junk food, comfortable clothes, show tunes, book stores, big paychecks, etc.
Dislikes: Sea food, reruns, CSI, procedural dramas, etc.
Strong Points: Understanding words/concepts (trying to get them across is another story), music/arts.
Weak Points: Math/numbers, heavy physical labor, confrontations, public situations.
Pet Peeves: People who expect everything to go their way all the time, whiny customers, Starbucks, etc.
Hobbies: Reading, writing, making LJ icons (though not very good ones), chillaxing online, listening to/playing music, "experiencing" movies (I do more than simply watch them), and collecting numerous things, particularly the Official Disney Trading Pins.
Talents: I can play a few instruments, mainly the flute (and piccolo, with a bit of experimentation on alto flute) and tuba (and sousaphone; brass is definitely more fun than woodwinds). Some would say I'm an exceptional writer, but I tend to disagree. I can also flick the side of my mouth so it sounds like dripping water.
Favorite Movie Genre(s): Sci-fi, fantasy, big-ass epics, dark comedies, Disney films, crude humor comedies, book adaptations, etc.
Favorite Music Genre(s): Currently, it's showtunes! I was raised in a family of musical lovers, so naturally growing up we had one playing nearly all the time. And it's not just the usual Broadway hit of the moment or Roger's & Hammerstein's classic; I like lots of different musicals, from the newly obscure (Bat Boy: The Musical), to the forgotten flops (Side Show), to the underrated movie showcases (Newsies).
Favorite Sport(s): Marching band/drum corps (it totally is a sport!), college football (pro-ball is too much about the money), hockey, and pretty much anything featured in the Winter Olympics.
Favorite Animal(s): Puppies! (No explanation needed.)
Leader or follower?: Follower. If I had to give orders I would try my best, but I wouldn’t enjoy it one bit.
Optimist or pessimist?: I see myself as an optimistic pessimist. I’d like for things to turn out for the better, but I know the odds are usually against me.
Good or bad?: I would hope to be good, but knowing myself, there’s a few bad genes floating around my family’s pool.
You are called for a mission that could mean your doom. Would you accept or decline?: Accept. To quote Peter Pan: “To die would be an awfully big adventure.”
After a deadly fight, you can only save yourself, or your most precious loved one. Who do you choose?: It would depend on who is the worse off, the most likely to survive, and/or the most important/essential to the team..
By a twist of fate, you have fallen in love with the enemy. Do you chose your team, or him/her?: The team. The only thing worse than betraying yourself (and your own personal feelings) is betraying your friends.
Favorite "X-Men: Evolution" character. You can say why if you would like, but it isn't necessary. Tabitha/Boom-Boom. She was such a fresh addition to the show’s cast.
