where could this lead

I go to a dark room
to contemplate the light
because when its hidden I see it just right
I'm a swelling bead on a Blade of grass
waiting to leap
when the invisible winds pass
its an answer
before the questions ever asked

I'm a dull axe waiting to be chosen
but what good man reaches for a dull tool
I'm dull but I'm not useless
I can be sharpened
and sharpened we make sparks
and sparks cause fires
and fires cause light
yeah I go to a dark room
to contemplate the light
sometimes when its hidden
I see it just right

we take so much time to try and divide
when this feeling is a beautiful lake above us and we've placed our heads inside
that's where I am
and if you're here
all that separates us is skin
because everything else
we in fact share
including our sins

I've forgiven my forefathers
and their sons sins
and if its a river that divides
then I'm diving in
won't you meet me here
we'll rest our arms
of thousands of years
of holding a readied sword
we'll let open our chests
and pour out those things
we've been made to think
and that we reluctantly hoard

I don't do this for heaven
although I know the promise is there
I have a trust and  a love
but for myself and my end
is not my main care

a prayer
for those dulled
who can still be
sharpened
who still hold spark
cause when I'm in the light
I don't contemplate the dark
