6 Days. That's less than a week. Holy shit..
Father update: They decided to fly him to St Louis yesterday by air ambulance. He was in a stable condition so it was a "do it now while you can" situation. His trip went well according to mom who flew with him. I'm glad she got to fly with him. I know it made things a little easier on her mentally if nothing else.
He is in ICU at Barnes Jewish Hospital where he had his original surgery. I feel more comfortable with him being there. Hopefully they will be able to help him without surgery, but if not at least he is in a top notch facility rather than a two bit, back woods hospital in Ruston, LA.
