Weekend wrapup...

I was pretty excited because I was going to get my new cell phone and service on saturday. However, my excitement was somewhat tempered by all the red tape and bureaucracy of switching your same number from two different wireless companies. Anyway, it was still nice to get the new phone and I just have to punch in some numbers in a few weeks when i'm ready to activate it. Saturday was spent at my grandparent's place in rowland. I got there for lunch and boy was it a huge lunch. The relatives and some of their friends were all playing mah jong so I was just hanging out with my sis and niece. After I got back from the cell phone place with my mom my sis had left the kid in the care of the aunts and uncles and so I took over the role of watching the kid so that they could play. She was kinda fussy and it took awhile to get her settled down but she eventually did. I hitched a ride back to my parent's with my sister and we ended up going to get a christmas tree with my bro in law and sis. For some reason, that afternoon spent at my grandparents was exhausting and so I just hung out after i got back to my parent's and then went to bed.

Sunday i got up and went to play tennis with my dad. Then I had to take care of some business involving the brotherhood. We, my parents and grandparents, went out to dinner before I headed back to R and for whatever reason the place was packed and we ended up waiting forever for the food to come out. On the way back, witnessed a car that had been on fire and was just black all over and experienced high winds that pushed my car into the other lane. fun times.
