Saturday started at 5 am. Well technically i guess it started when i was still working on my powerpoint from 12-1:30 am (sat) and then took a 3.5 hour nap and woke up at 5 to work some more on this seminar. Then I headed off to campus and was in the conference room from 8:00-1:30 (both listening and giving these seminars). Brad (my prof) was nice enough to bring some snacks and drinks. He had this log of salami and cheddar and swiss cheese blocks and crackers. I made myself a bunch of little cracker sandwiches because I almost burned my apartment down in the morning trying to make some toast (yes i'm awesome). I've come to realize that I really just need to practice at least 3 or more times before I actually give a talk. The more I practice out loud, the more comfortable I get and the better the flow. So I didn't get back until 3 or so.

My sister was throwing a pre-holiday gathering of some of their friends and invited me. After a brief rest at home (chatting :) and watching the boob tube), I headed on over to her house. When I got there, i was put to work making some rice and then was put in charge of finishing the chicken masala (that's like my dish now hehe). Other food items that were all delicious: mexican lasagna, buffalo wings, green beans, and this cucumber salad thing. One of mark's friends, Mike (great guy) brought a bunch of different chocolates over and so I ended up eating a whole bunch of chocolate. Oh, prior to dinner my sister set out a cheese and crackers (and grapes) platter... yum! Turned out to be a very relaxing and chill night with my sis and her friends.

I came home exhausted though. By then I was running on 17 hours straight of just doing stuff. GOBBLE GOBBLE day is coming up (and my bro and i are going to cook the turkey...mmmm TURKEY!!!! GRAVY!!!!!!!!)

I'm feeling pretty good now that that seminar is over. oh yeah, i got an A btw (we all did...grad classes rock).
