Hockey valet sister, you guys!
Thanks for your responses about women being referred to as "you guys." I think stuff like this is pretty interesting.
This weekend I'm going to Tampa to see a hockey game! New York Rangers @ Tampa Bay Lightning. The Lightning unfortunately are in last place in the Eastern Conference, which sucks, but I'll get to see some great players that I've never seen play before - primarily Jaromir Jagr. I've seen Brendan Shanahan play a couple of times, but he's really cool so I am glad to get to see him again. Also, Henrik Lundqvist.
My sister-in-law (second oldest of 4) and I have become great pen pals. She lives in the middle of nowhere up in northern Michigan, has no internet access and no home or cell phone. I started writing her a month or two ago, so she could get some news from the outside and she's been a faithful pen pal. I love reading and writing letters. She's a great correspondent and we really have a lot in common. I like all my husband's sisters and wish I could spend more time with them, but exchanging letters with this sister is almost like spending time with her. She writes good letters, not just "Hey, how's it going? I had a great day today. I'll talk to you later." Now I have two reasons to look forward to the mail delivery (the other being those red Netflix envelopes).
Speaking of Netflix, I watched my first Jeeves and Wooster last night and it was so hilarious. I watched 2 episodes and I think I am hooked! I'm quickly becoming a big fan of both Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry. It makes me want to get my own cool British valet. Of course, ladies don't get valets. I wonder if any lady's maid could ever be as cool as Jeeves. :-)
