Boo!

I'd like to dress up for Halloween at work. 4 or 5 years ago I dressed in my usual work clothes, but put on a tiara. Nobody else ever dressed up, but I figured if it was deemed inappropriate I could just take off the tiara. Everybody thought it was cute, especially one of my bosses who just thought it was the cat's pajamas. She was inspired to dress as a witch at work the following halloween and she plans to do the same this year. I'm trying to think of a work-safe costume. I have a kimono that I could wear. I could get a geisha wig and dress up like that. It might be too cold for a kimono by Halloween.

I'm drawing a blank on anything else, except the old standby of being a witch, which might be plenty fun and all I'd have to buy would be the hat. I'll have to go home and look through my random assortment of costume-y items and see what I can come up with. If I had my old long hair, I could dress up as Princess Leia.

I've seen some Halloween costumes in stores that are made by Playboy and are slutty versions of just about any costume you could think of. Those are too expensive and totally inappropriate for work. I love dressing up, though, so I hope I can come up with something good. I have a couple of weeks to think about it, so I'm sure I can do it.
