I can't believe El Chico closed!!! It was probably my second favorite restaurant in town - the best Tex-Mex in Tallahassee, in my opinion. It's been here for as long as I can remember, and I've lived here for almost 29 years. Granted, I don't think I can remember earlier than about 25 years ago. But still. So sad. We recently lost Smokey Bones BBQ (the only BBQ my husband and I really liked) and B. Merrell's (favorite after-show meal and corporate sponsor of Theatre A La Carte).
I hope Longhorn Steakhouse doesn't close. It's the only one of my top three favorite restaurants left.
