So Pensacola was exactly what I needed, I feel so much better. I did end up going to a concert with my cousin and we saw a band named Tool 9?). it was okay, apparently much "calmer" music then what she usually sees. there was lots of beer and smoking and a huge mosh pit (thank god we didn't go in there). at one point a paramedic took a guy away who looked like he was having a little "too much fun"-he looked really out of it and could barely walk, plus I think he had been throwing up a lot. Buy I survived, even if my ears were ringing for the next 48 hours.
Then there was a lot of other cool stuff, like making midnight runs to Krispy Kreme and getting free donuts from waiting in the drive through, playing lots of Kingdom Hearts 2 and making fun of all the dialogue, watching this Dr. Ruth-like woman at 2 in the morning (talking about this thing called the "cone"-that was strange), swimming in the morning, looking at pictures of this wild boar that had been shot a couple of days ago and looked like he weighed a thousand pounds, and all the evangelical christians protesting at the gay bar "the Emerald City" (and with the random woman who had the sign that said "I love you!")
I also went to the movies twice, once to see Shrek the Third for a second time and then to see Pirates. Pirates was one of the most confusing movies (and not in an intellectual way, either) but it had the three best things ever: 1) the midget getting blown backward after firing off a bazooka-like gun, 2) Geoffrey Rush laughing maniacly as they were going over the "edge of the world", and the best of all, 3) Davy Jones standing in a bucket of water. Very very bizzare, but amazing none the less.
Now I have to start setting up for the softball dinner. fuuuuuuuun. I must go send an email out.
