I am a graduate
So something ive done for the last 4 years of my life is finally and I guess regretfully over. It didnt rain at graduation, the microphone wasnt good for our singing, i didnt cry and didnt get to say goodbye to everyone in my class. I guess its not that big of a deal... but when you get into something so routine and something so used to doing its like damn all that just to leave. Lol and i thought i was tough for graduating middle school.
IM GOING TO COLLEGE AND WILL SPEND ANOTHER 4 YEARS THERE.
its kinda unreal. Imgonna miss my junior friends.. ALOT. Im gonna miss some teachers, some classes, and maybe even some of the people I couldnt stand in highschool because they made the good seem better. Im gonna miss sports and the play and definatley miss being in top shape becuase i sure as hell am losing that fast. Im going to miss parking lots and faces, and uur senior class disgraces. Oh well.
But more than the school and the people... as gay as that sounds.. im going to miss New Egypt. Granted i'll be back for months of break and summer but... its like our town is the most romantic place i know, and i guess i dont know much but i know how pretty the streets are at night and how even the loads of farms give us some kind of antiqued touch. The trails in our woods, the crumbling rec field, mainstreet mayhem, potters and everywhere in between. This is my home.
That was then and the now is coming so damn, i guess this is growing up.
