i'm really sorry about kitty.

for some folk, they're just animals. for others, cats are pets. for the rest of us, they're our small fuzzy children who pay absolutely no attention to instructions.

he was my guard cat , he always came to see if I was ok .

herbie used to do that. if i was sick, had a migraine, whatever, in would pad the cat.

finny doesn't seem to be quite so receptive to the "i'm sick and need comfort" vibes, but then, since it's a small apartment, he's never very far away.

Oh no! What happened? How? did he just pass in the night? My oldest kitty died last year. IT wasn't fun at all.

he was really sick and passed away just after I went to work .

Well, at least he died someplace comfortable and safe.
