Avada Kedavra --- Harry kills some Transformers

Miracle of miracles, I actually got a response from one of the places I applied at: Staples. So I have an interview there tomorrow afternoon. I am really trying to focus on not screwing this one up, like all the others. Because, surprisingly, I'm actually kinda interested in working there. Strange, yes?

Of course, I saw Harry Potter 5 last night at midnight with Sarah, Taryn, Beth, and Lizzy. We had a grand time waiting in line, and everyone had great costumes. Sarah, especially, with her fabulous Luna outfit (with REAL radish earring!), and Beth as Rita Skeeter. We also found a person dressed up as Lucius Malfoy! Sarah and Beth were bold enough to go ask for a picture; I'd imagine it would be on Facebook soon. Once the movie was over (at 2:30 am), Taryn and Beth went back home, only to leave an hour and a half later for their move down to Florida! They left about 4 am, as I hear it, and are probably in Montana as I write this. What a weird day for them.

The movie was okay, as expected, but in my opinion it felt kinda like a placeholder. Nothing especially important happened, besides Sirius dying (which was EXTREMELY upsetting in how they did it... Bellatrix did not use the Killing Curse in the book!!!) and some freakish make-out scenes (where, exactly, did the mistletoe come from!?). I really approved of Luna, Sirius, and Umbridge, though. A little too much Filch for my taste, but all in all a rousing good time nonetheless.

I look forward to book release next week! I've preordered from Borders, and can't wait. I've begun reading the sixth book to jog my memory a bit.

Haley and I are going to see HP5 in a few hours. So that'll be twice in 24 hours. Cool.

It is so HOT today!!! Apparantly it got near 97 degrees!!! I'm dyin' here.
