I don't think I've updated this for eons. I've been diligently reading everyone else's posts, but I just never had a good amount of time to sit down and write one. Well, finally, today, I am doing it. So where shall we start
Last week I had finals, which went pretty well. I've already gotten my grades back, and I did better than I had hoped on my chem final and accounting final. Sadly, in econ, I missed getting an A by 2 points! Talk about suckiness. LIterally, two measily more points on any test or extra credit thing would have done it for me. Whatever, it's water under the bridge now. I managed to implode on my English 101 portfolio, and got an A- in the class. Haha. Apparantly he didn't like my nontraditional reflective essay. Mwuahaha.
But, on to other things. Last last Thursday (as in March 22nd) I came home for Spring Break. I went with my mom to see 300 that Friday night (which I was not opposed to, due to David Wenham + quality movie). Over the weekend I got to see my dad and stepmom, and we went skiing on Sunday. I finally tried out my skis that I got for my 18th birthday. AND I got to use my new goggles, which replaced the 80s-era ones that I used previously. Monday Jackie took me out to get fajitas for my birthday present, and then we rented Borat: Cultural Learnings of blah blah I don't want to write it all out. You know what I'm talking about. We determined that the movie was hilarious, but here's a warning to everyone: never ever EVER tell you parents to watch it. They will surely have heart attacks. I was completely shocked by some of the material, and this is ME we're talking about. Luckily my mom was out of the room while we watched it.
Other than that, I've been doing regular old stuff like going to the dentist and getting a hair cut. It's been really nice to have relaxing, structureless days, if only for a week or so. On Sunday Jackie and I will be returning to Western to start our third and final quarter of the year. It's so weird to hear people talking about ending school in a few weeks; I have 11 more to go!
