All heat and no AC make Chris something something.

Unf. Still stifling hot both outside and in our tiny apartment. Not fun in the slightest. But I did manage to take my mind off of it for a good 8:47 watching last year's SDCC Avatar Q&A. Since I wasn't a fan till after the show had aired and ended, I missed a bunch of fan get-togethers so it was nice to hear some questions answered (and NOT answered - thanks for skimming over Zuko's mom ya meanies!).

On the Avatar movie, I was greatly displeased when I first heard it was being made, and slowly graduated to reluctant acceptance of the fact, and now I'm altogether indecisive. Going off of what Mike and Brian said, it wasn't their choice to make it live action, nor to get the theatrical ball rolling in general, but they say it's staying loyal to Book One: Water. I figured they'd be doing something with each movie as a different book, but I wasn't sure if they would be changing things altogether or keeping a lot the same. I mean, really how can you fit 19 episodes into two hours? My main concern is Zuko's character transformation. If they're staying somewhat faithful will he still gradually become a protagonist or will he stay the antagonist the whole way through?

Ah well, suppose I can worry and fret all I want but I wont know for sure until the movie comes out and I force myself to go see it. I just hope it's not completely altered like the Vision of Escaflowne movie that came out post-series. THAT was a whole lot of hoopla drowned in crack. Please M.Night, don't do that to our precious Avatar!
