Day 8: Weekend Chores - Flowers, Kitchen Cleaning & Make Yourself a Meal Apartment Therapy January Cure | Apartment Therapy.
Mehh. I knew I was going to hit a road block. And on a precipitation-free weekend, too. So, I'm going to cheat a bit. I'm going to leave the cabinets with the dishes in them untouched, and just focus on the cabinets with food in them. (I already cleaned the fridge.) And I'll clean the counters and the stove and kitchen table.
Unfortunately, I can't start until tomorrow, because my kitchen lighting is bad, and I have to wait until I have some daylight to work by.
As for the meal: not gonna happen. Especially if I have to clean the kitchen and do laundry all weekend.
I forgot to mention what I did, or didn't do, yesterday. Day 7's task was to plan a post-January Cure get-together. I get why we're supposed to do it (you have more incentive to clean if you know people are coming over), but I don't really know anyone I'd trust enough to let into my space.
So, as Effie Trinket would say, I've got a big, big, big day ahead of me tomorrow. So I guess I'd better go to bed early.
