I was trolling the intarwebz today, looking for articles about "American Idol," when I found
this gem. And, yeah, I agree with the comparison between Ryan and Wonder Bread. I once compared Ryan with Corny Collins, the TV host in the movie
Hairspray, but somehow, I don't think that Ryan would defy his corporate masters by doing what is right as opposed to what will make him money. (In the movie, Corny Collins defies his T.V. station by integrating the "Corny Collins Show." John Waters noted on the DVD commentary to the movie that the guy who inspired Corny Collins actually got fired by the station when he integrated his show.)
Okay, I still hate it when Ryan makes ousted contestants sing moments after they're told that they've been eliminated. And I want to see someone take that mike from Ryan and stick it where the sun don't shine.
