There was a new "Simpsons" episode tonight. Yay! (Fox also broadcasts the World Series, so there weren't any new "Simpsons" episodes during that time.) And it was actually funny.
The Diving Bell and the Butterball: Homer was paralyzed by a spider bite. While reading The Brothers Karamazov to him, Lisa discovered that Homer could communicate with his farts. (Okay, I have a sophomoric sense of humour.) He wrote Marge a very sweet letter. And then he was bitten by another spider....
Dial D for Diddley: Out of a somewhat misguided sense of justice, Ned Flanders became an unsub. Unfortunately, the BAU was nowhere to be found.
In the Na'Vi: Bart and Milhouse were transformed into Kang and Kodos (who show up in every Halloween episode). Since I haven't seen "Avatar," I didn't understand it. There was a high body count at the end.
Afterward, I watched "Battle of the Blades." Katarina Witt was the guest judge.
