On the bright side, the amount of attention given to the Paralympics (three weeks after the Olympics) helped change people's attitudes towards people with disabilities (for the better).
Speaking of the Olympics, the Tyee made an FOI request for a 2007 report on the financial risks on the 2010 Olympics - they got A report, but key parts were censored.
