Election day

So, general elections to the Knesset (the Israeli parliament) today. I do believe we've not had a government that lasted the full, four year term in over 15 years. That can't be good. The joint party of Holocaust survivors and 'graduates' of the Green Leaf party (in favor of legalizing marijuana), I mean what the hell?

Normally I try to steer clear of politics myself, but I can't pretend their decisions don't affect me. Not that any of us have much choice in the matter.

Yeah, that's why I don't vote, I believe that either way sucks in one way or another and that it really isn't a choice.

As far as Israel goes I have a really demented take on politics and I usually don't say it cause people will accuse me of being evil, which may very well be true.

It is as follows:

As long as my family and friends are safe I don't give a flying fuck.

I just can't bare stupidity, I get all annoyed and frustrated.

I do vote though. Way I see it, you don't get to complain if you don't vote. Also I remember the times when women weren't allowed to vote. Seems ungrateful to all the women who fought fought fir something we now take for granted. Perhaps it's a bit wierd of me.
