This time, blissfully without me in them.
Yeah.... Once I come up with something to do it can take up a lot of my time. Also I have the evil course thingie starting today and I'm quite anxious, so I try to get my mind of things.
*it won't work. I have an exceptionally large mind*
Shut up!!!
Ahem, yes. I took those some years ago, on my senior year school trip to Eilat. I thought some pictures of Israel with beautiful scenery rather then bombed buildings might be in order right now.
Um...hills? It was on the way, I thought it was pretty at the time.
Taken from the top of a mountain they made us climb. The mountains far away belong to Jordan.
We got a ride in a boat (obviously). The water is the Red Sea. The lighter mountains are still in Israel, the darker ones are already in Egypt.
The view from the other side. Jordan once again. The city on the shore is Akaba.
More mountains.
Ah. Now this is a peculiar kind of crater. It's caused by rain water slowly washing away soft layres of earth form below the ground, while the hard upper bit remains. In time it crumbles like the crust of a pie the insides of which have been scooped out. There are only three such craters in the worls, and all of them are in Israel. This is the largest.
Once again the images are quite large. I tried to scale them, but you couldn't really see well. Probably due to my lack of skill. I'll practice. Anyway, there aren't many of them.
