It's not all that boring. Running around with paper laterns and then watching them burninating to ash later is fun!

My favourite are snow-skin durian mooncakes, which, alas, are sorely lacking in Melbourne. I miss them.

I use to love burning straws and my parents got really mad. lol
Every year my parents and I eat some moon cake and then we go to sleep. No fun and excitement for the Huangs.
