What I'm watching (apart from FMA) in spring 2009
I'm almost finished checking out new anime (only possible thanks to a 3 week spring break). So...
Eden of the East

It's an original story by the GitS: S.A.C. director Kenji Kamiyama with art by Honey & Clover mangaka Chika Umino. <3 Looks like a lot of effort was put into this anime, including original American voice actors instead of bad Engrish. I really enjoyed the first episode, from the OP to finish (I thought the ED animation was cute too). Random nudity is a bonus I just HAD to mention that right? :P
Sengoku Basara
Adaptation of a fighting video game. Yes you heard that right. Brainless (and I mean it) testosterone samurai action in a pretty, polished package. My crack fix of the season, without doubt. LET'S PARTY!!!!YEAAAAAAH. Gotta love Masamune's random macho English... (slashable like whoa, for those intersted..Yukimura you're doomed to eternal ukedom.) Really nice seiyuu lineup. ;)
Guin Saga
Fantasy epic based on a novel by Kaoru Kurimoto. More info here.I only had a glimpse at this but it looks like I'll give it a go. The art is in the style of Seirei no Moribito and it has stunning visuals.
07-Ghost
Frankly, the only reason I'll be checking this out is bishies in military uniforms. I haven't read the manga (yet) so I don't know much about the plot. Military academy, evil organizations, some special powers, the works. More details here.
