(no subject)
I fell asleep with the curtains open late last night after doing a LOT of work, and woke to the Sun Rise this morning - quite possibly one of the most beautiful ways I have ever woken up. Red gold light just filling up my room, everything still and quiet and peaceful... very very pleasant!
I've got a seminar and dissertation meeting today then I'm off back to the old homestead. I don't want to go to my meeting but I suppose I have to. I'm sort of looking forward to going home, especially since I have missed my best mate so much - and she's been ill so I want to make sure that (despite assurances to the contrary) she's not going to expire any time soon... And of course I need to play counsellor to another friend, as well as get my pay from work sorted out. Its all fun and games ;)
But I really am in such a lovely mood :) Sunrise is horribly early but a terribly lovely way to wake!
