(no subject)
Gah. Whhyyyyy did I just agree to work Sunday as well as Saturday? Oh, yeah. Cause they pay me and I need the money. But, still. Sucks. *fingers crossed* I'll get a real job soon - miracles still happen, right?
I might do a September NaNo, once this is done (because of course the cure to spending three months in front of a computer trying to type 17,500 words of sense is to spend one month in front of a computer, trying to write 50,000 words of...slightly less sense?). I just need to get back into my own writing, really. Which I keep saying then not doing because dissertation interferes. It does that with a lot of things, though; baking, jewellery making, glass painting, hiking... you know - life? and fun? ;)
I'm also gonna make Jackman's birthday cupcakes, to make sure I can actually do them, and that they come out right. And I need to get to doing the Christmas Cake - next weekend, I think I'll get together the ingredients and leave them to marinate. Then during the week I'll (hopefully) be a semi-free woman and can make cake!
