After months-maybe even a year-of owning a satellite radio, I finally got the thing hooked up. The only drawback is that it runs through my radio, so every now and again, I get breakthrough from other stations. On the way home today I was listening to Octane when Pantera’s Cemetery Gates came on. Half way through the song, and completely out of the blue, I distinctly heard “fish sticks”. Huh? Fish sticks? Well, allrighty then.
Easter’s over. Yeah. Not my favorite holiday. As usual, we went to Alan’s grandfather’s house. I feel so bad for the man. He’s 95 years old, and he tries to hard to be spry. Apparently, a few days ago, he fell and sprained his neck. Even though he was in obvious pain, he enjoyed having everyone over for the day and he even blew up balloons with the kids.
A couple nights ago, we went out with my brother’s family, my sister, and my mom. My sister-in-law likes to look for restaurants that are pet friendly. We ended up at the
Lazy Dog Cafe in Westminster. My brother brought his two dogs, and we brought ours. We had to sit on the patio, but they totally catered to the dogs. They even brought water dishes for them, and several of the wait staff came by to say hello. Good prices, great food, pet friendly. We’ll almost definitely be going back there again!
