Tada - more mini-theories. Not fleshed out yet.

Snape at Godric’s Hollow
Asks Voldemort to spare Lily Evans - after all, he did bring valuable information
Voldemort offers her a choice
Voldemort kills her
Voldemort laughs at -Snape- who has run to the dead woman’s side
Voldemort goes to kill Harry; kills himself - before Snape can say anything
Snape disapparates away, downtrodden and miserable; the woman he loves - loved?, dead.
Dumbledore doesn't trust Voldemort because he cannot love. But Snape can love? So is he trustable?

Snarry related theories - power struggle and 'HomigodwhatifHarryreallyisthenextdarklord?!!!111One'

Potions book. "Apparently I underestimated you, Potter," he said quietly. "Who would have thought you knew such Dark magic? Who taught you that spell?"

Now...what I'm suggesting is that the Sectumsempra spell is not an easy one. I'm suggesting that it takes quite a powerful, well practiced dark wizard to pull off a spell like this. So why doesn't Snape take the book back? Perhaps he's hoping that Harry will continue taking it's advice? Perhaps he's even impressed? Well, angry yes, because Harry hurt another student - but the wounds would have killed Draco. Perhaps he finally realises that Harry might just be able to get rid of Voldemort. And yet...it shows the extremeness of Harry's power.

More fics in the future, I hope, will show just how strong Harry is. He wouldn't have been best in Defence Against the Dark Arts for no reason, after all.
