probably the same reason lost teens with no friends and even less value of a life learn how to play instruments that serve little purpose. i hate those kids too though. it just sounds worse coming from someone like you. you should learn to be less ignorant. or go back to germany.

certain instruments. out of the hundreds of people who learn flute how many of those people will continue to play once they're not being forced to? if you're going to be artist you might as well do it for yourself rather than school or something equally as repugnant
