we did it!
NOTHING WENT WRONG!! (well apart from the humming tape player but not our fault!) It actually all went amazingly and everyone remembered their lines, Katie managed to improvise hilariously when Bill and Ben were slightly late, and everyone seemed to love it! I am so so so happy!!! From the dress rehearsal the last week I was very very doubtful about whether it would be entertaining at all but it went to so well!!! Even ASDA! I can't believe it's all over now though, it seems really odd to think we're never going to have to rehearse it again, or go over ASDA one more time, or improve anything or do more publicity or whatever. Talking of which, we had tons of people! The hall was packed full and we'd put out every single chair we had! And I was worried not enough peple would turn up!
I am very very happy as I think you can probably see :) It just all went so well, and I was so proud of all the guides :) The cream pie scene was great, (poor sophie though), huge impact when the cream hit her face, it literally seemed to explode. A big gasp came from the audience at that point, nice audience reactions there!
Well as Makaela said we have proved we can do it, now for next year! Lol, maybe not quite yet but the way things went last night have persauded me very definately in the direction of doing it again (Mum has been nagging me for ages not to do it next year, but even she changed her mind after last night)
It should be easier if we did it again, I know we'll have more schoolwork and stuff but I think we would have more experience and confidence doing it now that it all went well this year.
Anyway, as Katie said: "CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES!"
