damnit
Things don't seem to be working out right now:
I tried to steal another "reserved parking for steadfast management" sign form the mall last night. It didn't turn out how I though. The first run was about midnight where I started to loosen the nut from the bolt holding the sign on. Just then a guy came out from the back door of the mall. I had to turn towards my partner in crime (who I won't name for security purposes) and say, "I can't find my keys out here" in a loud clear voice to draw away from the fact that I was stealing a sign from the parking lot.
Then we left.
At around 4am we returned to finish the job. This time there was a mall guard circling around the parking lot looking for trouble. Normally a mall guard wouldn't scare me, but it was 4 in the morning and those guys can get Everett PD on the horn at the push of a button. We once again got the hell out of there. In a calm non suspicious way of course. I don't know when I'll be back to finish the job. Maybe I'll pull into the reserved parking spot and pop my hood in broad daylight so it looks as though I'm fixing my car should anyone come out and bother me. oh well.
My recording attempts have also proven unsuccessful as of late. Every time I start to get a good take on guitar or vocals something has to go wrong. My favorite was when my mom came out to see what I was doing right at the end of the bass track. I was almost done for the night when suddenly I hear this loud door screech in the BG of the song.
I've also had the obligatory passing car or the airplane overhead noise to ruin my work as well. Now I have to replace some strings on my ovation so I can try it all again.
