Warning: This is a tangent....Feel free to ignore if you so choose:
**************************************************************
Honestly, even after writing this anthropology paper, I have come to the conclusion that I, Ryan Ellen Meister, do not, I repeat, DO NOT care about evolution and how it came to be. It is an interesting concept, yes, but I think that I would seemingly much rather enjoy the world I live in, rather than waste my time arguing about how it came to exist. I believe in a Heaven, I believe in a Hell, I believe in a God....that doesn't necessarily mean that I want to know how they got there, and why they are there, because I know that I will never know the meaning of life until I die, so what is the point? I have a feeling that when a person dies and goes to heaven, God sits them down on a big, fluffy couch, takes their hand and says "Ok...(first name, middle name, last name)...the meaning of life is this..." and that person is either going to say:
"I knew it, I knew it all along! It involves foam! :)" (very , VERY clever, by the way, Beth....I like it!! )
or "Wow, I wasn't even close."
or, if they are like me, "Ok, so now what? I'm dead."
I'm sure there are some people out there who know it, and maybe, deep down, we all know it, but what is the point of arguing about something that is not certain to begin with?
Quoting the Anthropology Term Paper Guideline:
"Clearly state what you believe and why you believe it" That is just it, I don't know WHAT I believe, except that I don't care about evolution, because it is a waste of time and energy...
Yeah, that will get me a good grade...
"Sorry, Professor, but I don't care for evolution because it is a waste of time and energy and all the hours you spent lecturing on it and showing fossils and skulls all went into one ear and out the other because it was all pointless.Sorry you wasted your time."
Anyways, I think I am starting to lose brain cells from all of this thought, (or lack there of). I better finish my paper before my brain completely shuts off.
Goodbye
