I lost my power in Virginia
So technically my vacation ended saturday because i had to work on that day, but i got my two normal days off, Sunday and Monday. So officially go back to the grindstone tomorrow. Boo. But i had good little vacation and totally don't want to go back.
-Went to maine on the 1st part of the vacation. Thursday to Sunday. It was good and relaxing (when i didn't have to hike up the mountain to get to the cabin.) Kyle and Pat almost died. People almost dying is starting to be a tradition. 2 years in a row now. On the last two days i got sick. I thought it might be dehydration cuz i was definately not drinking enough water up there. Thankfully it wasn't the mouse poop disease.
-Came back home to see my brothers stuff being delivered. He has a lot of crap, damn. I'm pretty impressed with his huge ass TV. I had 2 lazy days which i really needed to get over my sickness.
-Then My bro comes back, he had a road trip from Arkansas with his Girlfriend and fellow Air Force member Amber. They talked about their trip so far and they passed out for the night. Next day they showed me "Geocaching" What is Geocaching you say? Well, first you need a GPS system and people hide "Caches" all over the country and they put up the coordinates on this website with a clue to find it. There are various ways you can set up caches. You can set up puzzles for us to figure out or you can straight up hide and it just give a vague clue. So basically treasure hunting with a GPS system. So on that day we found 2 caches in woonsocket. There was a puzzle one that took us 2 hours to find because it was in a huge graveyard off of Rathburn st. We were unsuccessful with one in cumberland but we decided to get some ice cream at Ice Cream Machine so it was totally worth it.
-Next day myself, my bro and his GF decided to show amber Newport. We did some geocaching. Showed her the cliffwalk, walked around all the shops and went to the beach to stick our feet in the water. It was a pretty fantastic day, we were dead tired afterwards.
-Oh! When we were in newport all of us had an awkward moment with Lewis Black. We were walking down this street and we passed him on his cellphone. Two stores down i stopped and said "Did we pass Lewis Black?" So like goobers we slowly walked up to him while he's on his cell phone. He then got off his cell phone and started walking down the street with his friend. Then Amber decided to be the brave one and asked him, "Sir, excuse me are you Lewis Black?" And in the most annoyed voice he said, "yeah". Right after that there was an awkward second of silence right before he turned and left. Wow that was awkward.
-We showed Amber around RI for a little bit the next day and she had to go back home to ArKansas.
-Yesterday got offered a few parts in a Durang festival at Firehouse in Newport. The next day the show got canceled. What's with me and shows getting canceled in newport?
