The sweet taste of death

Drinking your whiskey
Thinking of defeat
You cut your wrist
You feel so numb
The taste of death shall be so sweet

The good always die so young
In a world so full of lies
How am I supposed to survive?
If I die in my own dreams
The good always die so young
In a world where no one cares

You bite your lip when they say their lies
Even though you want to cry
You try so hard to be so strong
But you always seem lose control

The good always die so young
In a world so full of lies
How am I supposed to survive?
If I die in my own dreams
The good always die so young
In a world where no one cares

Now they seem to go away
Just when you need them the most
It's hard to explain
How did it all come to this
The scars on your wrist
The tears on your cheek
It's all just too much
To even admit to your self

The good always die so young
In a world so full of lies
How am I supposed to survive?
If I die in my own dreams
The good always die so young
In a world where no one cares

You tell mommy so many lies
Daddy don't even seem to care
Remember that guy that seemed to care
Yet he doesn't even know your still there
How can you call people your friends
When you can't even befriend your own soul

The good always die so young
In a world so full of lies
How am I supposed to survive?
If I die in my own dreams
The good always die so young
In a world where no one cares

It's all just fun and games
Till they find that you can not breath
Well you take your whiskey
Take your razor blade
Taste your own blood
Your dirty blood
The screaming in your head
Seems to take it's toll

Why do the good die so young
Why can't people just tell the truth
They wanted to survive I know they did
But they die too many times in their own dreams
They only seem to care when your about to cry
They only understand when you take your own life
The good always die so young
The bad always have to live with it
Why do the good always have to die so young
Just so the bad can see the blood on their hands
