WAR
This is a reponse to an email I got from my in-laws about not believing in the war is like not believing in our soldiers.
Please do not take offense on what I am about to say.
Can't we love our soldiers and hate the war? Do we have to think the president knows what he is doing? Maybe I read the email wrong, but in most ways I believe the same way that loud mouth girls does. This war is wrong and it was personal. Give me a rifle and I will join the fight to find Bin Ladin and I agree someday Iraq had to fall but things will never change and we are wasting our time over there.
There are so many wars on our own soil that should take preference over this misdirected way. As you know, my husband and your son, is a soldier in the Navy and he is my hero along with all of my friends that are fighting a war we can not win becaue they do not want what we want. My friend Tony left his 2 little girls last week for his 3rd tour in Iraq. We into a war against the advisement of the UN. They claim Clinton should have went into Iraq when Saddam would not let them check for weapons but we went against these sanctions to do nothing.
I am sorry to rant and I love you both but this war is wrong and (I whole heartedly believe that) but it does not mean I do not love my soldiers. I am sorry if I misread what she wrote but as far as I am concerned (and the votes have shown) we have the wrong ignorant person running the country.
