I am posting this on my brand-new computer!
It's been a long time coming, this decision. I've wanted a new computer for ages. My old one was pretty ancient, 7 years old in fact, and it showed. There was very little it did fast or well anymore, and I was beginning to have serious issues with the keyboard refusing to work. I tried swapping new keyboards and everything else I could find, and nothing worked. So I decided it was time.
Thank goodness for Best Buy and their 18-month financing. Without that, there was no way this would have been possible. Now I have a low monthly payment even I can afford, although it means I do need to tighten my belt a little more.
I'm in the process now of moving everything over from the old PC onto the new one, using a flash drive. It's going to take several "trips" but that's perfectly okay. Some things are worth it. :-)
