Thank you to everyone who responded to my earlier post. I'm sorry I didn't reply individually; I'm still sort of in shock, and I haven't really made any major decisions yet. About the only thing I have decided is not to do anything until I get back from England, which will be November 14th. Until then I am just going to focus on myself, on getting

I have to believe there is something better out there. And there is a part of me that is definitely relieved that this happened, and that I don't have to deal with their crap anymore.

Thank you. I'm still reeling from it, I think. The job market here is just dreadful, and that scares me.

I know the odds of me getting an interview right away are slim, but it would suck to get a call, only to have to say, "Sorry, I won't be here." So it just seems safer to wait until I get back.

We arrive Friday the 6th and leave on the 14th. The early part of the week is rather booked, but from Wednesday through Friday we have no concrete plans. Would that work for you?
