S-S-State of the Dropping!
First, a general disclaimer/state of the union on myself, because it's deeply related to where my characters are standing and all.
THE MUN
I've been... in a funny state of mind for a couple of months now. Some days I'm like super hyped about the game and others I just want to sit back and not hear anything about it. There's no way I'm dropping out completely, I've heard about other people who are going through the same, and I'd like to think it's just a phase. I am zen.
Except, with moving + jobhunting + future apartmenthunting and all that stuff, I haven't been as active as I'd like and this situation is not likely to improve in the future, at least not while I get all my shit together. Again, no plans to drop because I ♥ CFUD, but I honestly don't have the attention span/free time for it I used to have and I'm... OKAY WITH THIS. Which is a good thing, I guess! But I also worry about not being there for castmates/events/BLAH BLAH you know how that goes. Worse comes to worst, I will have to drop a couple of charas, but it's not something that haunts me too much at the moment, so!

SHA GOJYO
IC: Gojyo is thuper, thanks for athking. He's way happier than he was a few months ago thanks to castmates, and he still has things keeping him busy here. STILL MISSING SEX, STILL NEEDING SOME TIME OFF OF CAMP IN GENERAL, but overall he's in a good place, despite his approaching third anniversary.
OOC: HE IS MY FOREVER KAPPA. No issues whatsoever here, I love my castmates/camp relationships like I'm blind, and the prospect of getting a Hakkai for counselors only makes it all better. I can only see myself dropping him with the rest of the ikkou and that's because... it would be way too mean to keep him here for another god-knows-how-many years. BUT NOT BECAUSE I CAN'T PLAY HIM ANYMORE OR ANYTHING.
Dropping: Prying, cold dead hands, etc.
OGIUE CHIKA
IC: Ogiue ♥ camp, she may not be a social butterfly, but the connections she has here are important enough that they make her feel at home. Also, most of the Genshiken is here now, so she's pretty content with things as they are. Still dealing with insecurities and other assorted issues, but having people who support her makes it all easier on her.
OOC: I've said it before and I'll say it again. I have never once toyed with the idea of dropping her and this is not likely to change in the future. She's not a spammer, but she has never ever given me issues and I love where camp has taken her and how. Things have been a bit different than canon, but I've somehow managed to achieve the same results and I'm very proud of this.
Dropping: I couldn't see myself dropping her even if all of her castmates did, I just love her that much.
SOHMA HATORI
IC: Hatori is in a good place, overall. Ever since his birthday, he's came to realize that there are many people who care for him (AND WHO HE CARES FOR) here and that it's okay to let himself be happy, if only a little bit while he's here. Shenanigans involving Shigure and A Certain Noah worry him a lot, but he's been kept in the dark about it just enough that it doesn't cause him massive emo or anything like that. GOD I STILL OWE PEOPLE THIS ESSAY, DON'T I?
OOC: Seahorse~~~ ♥♥♥ I lovelovelove him and his social awkwardness and snark and not-so-sekrit deredere. He is also not a spamwhore, but whenever I bring him out he always ends up threading with a lot of people and his voice is just so... refreshing to me.
Dropping: Will only drop if Shigure and/or Ayame drop, I think.
REBECCA "BECKY" MIYAMOTO
IC: Becky is not okay. She's mostly over her "baaaawwww Meryl left" emo now, but she still feels bad about being stuck in camp. And she's also paranoid that any day now Peony will leave and! While she does have other people in camp who could "look after her" she would be super sad and no. And she won't tell Peony to take her with him when/if he leaves because she's omega retarded, so. YEAH!
OOC: I love Becky! I was in a bad place with her not long ago, but I got out of the rut and things are cool now. She's not a primary anymore, but she still has her moments of spamspamspam, so I am mostly zen with her. Still need to review canon one of these days, though.
Dropping: Low/medium.
YOKO
IC: Yoko has been thinking a lot. Simon and Nia leaving reminded her that they have a mission to finish back home and that there's people waiting for them. She's worried about Kamina in camp and outside of camp and Stel and I should actually get to doing one of those nighttime threads sometime soon, oops.
OOC: Contrary to popular belief, I am not in a rut with her! I've just been backburnering her because lolol account expired and I hate playing with just 15 icons. THIS WILL BE REMEDIED WHEN I GET MY FIRST PAYCHECK o yes. Anyway! I love Yoko a lot and still have stuff I want to do with her, so mostly I need to get her out again and talking to more people. o/
Dropping: Loooow. But I know that she will drop with Kamina, no matter what.
SAKURA
IC: She's v. happy right now. She had a thread with Cloney in which she finally told him about the spoilers and he promised not to leave her side and aaaawww. She's happy here in camp and the thought of being spoilered still makes her a little emo sometimes, but she's determined either to stay here, or go to another world with Syaoran. She's not giving up that easily because she doesn't want to hurt her important people and she wants to be happy with Syaoran-kun.
OOC: ... Need to do that deaged journal post, then age her up again. UH. I'm happy with her, though. I often toy with the idea of dropping her, but the truth is I love her and her castmates too much to actually do it. She's a type of character I've never really played before and a year later I'm still not bored with her, so. ♥
Dropping: Low!
KATSURAGI MISATO
IC: Misato is "eeehhh" about camp. She isn't happy here, but the other EVA kids being here help her not be completely miserable. There's still many things she doesn't understand about this place and AUs and whatnot, and of course she has things to do back home, but she takes comfort in the fact that time passes differently back home.
OOC: M-My problem child. I loooove her a whole fucking lot and do not want to drop her, but sometimes I feel like I'm just sitting on her and asdfjkl. The problem with Misato is that she hardly opens up to people and she always pretends everything is chill HEY RABI MAYBE WE SHOULD THREAD. I would kill for a Kaji and a Ritsuko because they would help her (and me) a lot but I know my chances of getting either of them are really low, so waaah, whine whine. May or may not end up dropping her in December.
Dropping: High. :(
KOUZUKI KALLEN
IC: Kallen is the happiest she's ever been since she first arrived because Lelouch finally knows that she knows about him and he's not asking about the future and |DDDDD ZERO STILL LOVES ME YAY YAY. A part of her is still :| about the timefuckery and being trapped here but... Gino is actually helping with that, EVEN THOUGH SHE'D NEVER ADMIT IT TSUNTSUNTSUN. But yes, Kallen is relatively happy at the moment, yaaay. \o/
OOC: I LOVE KALLEN SOSOSOSOSO MUCH. I'm glad I got over my retarded "baaawww can't app her because I already have Yoko" thing because. It was such a filthy lie. And I love Kallen and she's my baby and I can't believe I held out for so long. She is currently a kinda primary for me (thx Gino) a-and I'm ridiculously happy with all of her relationships and! ♥♥♥KALLEN♥♥♥
Dropping: NOT A CHANCE.
AMELIA WIL TESLA SAILLUNE
IC: Amelia is happy! She may be trapped in Zombie Camp of Doom, but all of her friends are here and there's evil to be smashed and heroes to talk to and LOTS of things to do! She'll stay here as long as its needed.
OOC: I find myself kind of in the same place I was a few years ago when I first dropped Amelia in the sense that she's not as spammy as I'd like her to be, but I'm wiser now and I know this in no way means I should drop her. She's super high energy and this means she's destined to be a backburner of sorts forever, but I am okay with this! I adore my castmates and our retarded antics and I'd just end up regretting it if I did drop her. I do need to form more non-canon relationships with her, though.
Dropping: It will probably happen eventually, but it doesn't look like it'll be anytime soon.
KOUMYOU
IC: Koumyou is in a special place right now because lololol deaged Sanzo and Ukoku. But in general he's zen, happy to have gotten some extra time to be with the people who matter most to him and just... do stuff. He worries about what may happen between Sanzo and Ukoku, of course, but in the end that's beyond his control (for the most part), so he just tries to zen out.
OOC: CONFESSION TIME! I used to think I'd drop Koumyou pretty fast because I had this feeling that he would only be playable off Ukoku and Sanzo. OH, HOW MISTAKEN I WAS. Man, playing a crazy old man on the internets shouldn't be so much fun. His voice comes so easily to me I sometimes creep myself out and just. ♥ loev hippie dumbles
Dropping: Not for a very good while!
KURAI
IC: Kurai is... not exactly happy in camp. Sure, there's lots of people she knows here, but it also means she has to see Sara and Setsuna being mushy on a regular basis and dfgjklf. She's not ready for that kinda thing just yet. Also Setsuna is so happy here she wants him to stay and she feels like he wants to stay which is just... even more heartbreak, sob. Good thing she has people she can baaaww tsun at.
OOC: I had a bit of trouble getting her settled in at first due to RL getting in the way of my playing time, but she's doing a lot better now. I still need to throw her at more non-canonmates and dragons and other stuff, but I'm taking it easy. Also Hatter apper in counselor beta post makes me all 8D 8D 8DDD!! NTS: Also finish that Hatter essay for Aeris, olol.
Dropping: Low!
