Suspicions
I don't know if this reached other peoples shores, but Al gore visited sheffield for a "Private" talk on environmental issues. There were some lovely greenpeace people chatting outside of the local city guild building, while al gore mentioned something on the lines of "about the global warming crisis..." then told the press to leave, and no other information was given to the public about what was going on, but there was laughter to be heard inside the building. Damn politicians! Probably on the lines of the select few "It is too late to stop the planet warming up/freezing over" but the elite will be okay and if WWIII breaks out the "select few" will have their coisy

The undying urge to track the guy down and pelt him with tomatos until he speaks crossed my thoughts....never trust it if it breathes, fails and is a twisted politician. Considering America and the worst polluters of the world IMHO they seem to care the least about global warming but are more than willing to open up casinos (which I feel is more damaging than smoking to peoples health) put public transport costs up, fuel prices up, road tax....all to pay for a lousy war that should never have happened. Not happy as usual with our so called "Leaders".
Put trust in them and you're probably safer attatching a nuke to your ass and saying goodbye world.
