myspace can be addictive (see small print for side effects)

i don't know what it is, but to have my own webpage (in a sense) is so awesome. to have a place to look at my pictures, listen to my music and talk to my friends is so great! but then 38 year old pervs who shouldn't really have one try to message me. which means they're looking at pictures of me. ew. but do i care enough to not have a myspace? ..uh..no. nobody cares enough to do anything more than push the reject button (if only real life were so simple..) "no not in a million years, you're nasty *click* bye!" so ask yourselves this ..is there a limit to the number of times you check for messages or is it really socially acceptable now to stalk your ex? i say, there is no limit, myspace is just another tool of communication between friends. like aim or texting. i will admit though, i am guilty of checking up on an ex. (how pathetic i know..especially since i am the one who dumped him) but still. i'm sure people i don't talk to anymore look me up on the web. the means are there. so i guess we've all accepted the fact that our business is out for the world to see. how odd. because i love my privacy, but then my thoughts are right here. on the internet for the world to see, and i seem to think they're private. how did we reach this type of mindset?
