i went to the mars volta concert yesteryday night. i was out but god, it was amazing. i went with him and fuck, it was just so crazy. the energy there was so crazy. the way the singer dances its beautiful like he is the music, its vibrating through him. my whole body pulsed with the music. everyone just ran around hitting eachother, almost having convulsions just because they truely felt the music. the stage presence was crazy, it was like, fuck i dont konw. but there are evry few bands that actually play thier instruments well and can put on a good show with the songs they play and please the crowd, itslike. pure unadulturated beautiful aura of emotion. everyone there was having crazy emotional shit going on. all i konw is it was a thing of motherfucking beauty to hear someone who played the music they truely loved. not like someone loves icecream or a shirt, but how they love thier life partner they'd die for. the most amazing experience one can every have.
