Thirsty Thursdays huh?

Mar 05, 2004 14:42

Last night was quite an interesting one. The plan was to have a thirsty thursday, compliments of Maggie. But, for better or for worse, I had to talk to Moe about my RA recommendation. He just wanted to figure out a little more about me, although I do feel like he knows me way better than the other people he is writing recs for. But it was all good. The first time I saw him he was like, it'll only take 5 min. 5 Minutes in Moe time is like 20, so I waited and waited, then Chris cut in fornt of me! Jerk. Naw, but his took like 5 thats all. Time for Kim!

So two and a half hours later Chance walks in drunk as anything, and breaks up our interview, which really had ended an hour before, but Moe and I chitchat like wild. It was good, he had a lot of concerns about some stuff, and I ha a nice talk. Poor Chance is still drunk as I write. Goodness. I guess I like waking uo feeling fresh in the mornings when I ahve a 10:10.

Ok, so this piss-off Canadian kid hurt one of my friends pretty bad. He totally lead her on, got lal her hopes up and then totally let her down out of the blue. That kinda stuff makes me so grumpy. Its the worst when you don't see it coming. Big plans and all for spring break, crushed. Who does that? Grrr. You deserve better girl, I am tellin' ya, give me his SN and I will have a chat with him. Piss off...

Tonight Abi's friend is have a party at his house and a bunch of us are going. Sounds like fun to me! I am just glad to get out the dorms, but I wish the weather had held up. That was soooo nice. I am gonna go jogging in a bit though anyways. Ok, GTG meet Mike and Amar at the hatch to give Mike some $$. Hope everyone has a great Friday night! You deserve it.

Quote of the Day:
"The harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly; it is dearness only that gives everything its value. I love the man that can smile in trouble, that can gather strength from distress and grow brave by reflection. 'Tis the business of little minds to shrink; but he whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves his conduct, will pursue his principles unto death."
-Thomas Paine
