My spring break entry will have to come in two parts.
Part 1:

NYC was lovely.  She is the same as ever and I can still hear her calling my name.

I saw Lance Bass walking down the street.

At moments when I had no idea where to go my mind shifted into NY mode and I was able to remember the exact location of all my old hang outs: Cafe Lalo, Whole Foods Cafe, that AMAZING pizza place right down from the Cooper-Hewitt, the coffee shop on 91st and Lex.

My old bosses took me to a posh exhibition opening at a gallery on 86th with a lot of Van Goghs.  I drank champagne and did some serious people watching.

I was advised to cross the street so as not to interrupt the filming of a Law and Order scene.

The coffee was captivating.

Pratt was good, but its still up in the air.  I'd love to go there.  I'd also love to not be in debt.

Tom Hanks did not coming to meet me...or maybe he took one look at me and left.

Using the subways like nobody's business.

Being back in the library was like being back home.  Its wonderful there, even if it is far too small.

The Cooper-Hewitt's exhibition was AMAZING.  I wish I'd had years to look at it.

Jen let me sleep at her place--her first ever apartment of her own.

I met up with Candice.  Although we've been in contact for years, this was the first time I'd ever physically met her.  The internet makes for strange relationships, no?  She'd sent an email to a listserv years ago asking about NY advise for when she moved there.  Of course, I had lots to say about places to eat.  We've been in contact ever since.

St. Patrick's is still going strong.  It is still my haven.

Pratt (by the way, I was accepted) was really good.  I could see myself there.  Still wondering if God sees me there, though.
