This past week was such a blur.  But it was also very exciting.  Filled with constant highs and planning to the extreme, I'm so blessed it happened, but so happy its over.

The biggest part of the week was being able to spend it with my new bff, Dawn Eden, who, as most of you should remember, is an author I'd discovered a few months ago.  Her work

I have to giggle...doesn't your mother ever call you and tell you to stay out of the newspapers because you'll get a reputation as a trouble maker? (That's what my mom said when I got my picture in the Eastern News. I was so excited I sent her a copy.)

I wish you had brought Dawn by the library.

Having said that, I am contemplating either sending a letter to the editor to the Daily Illini (and maybe having it copied to Urbanagora) because I was totally annoyed by both Kristin Rains and Becky Kaiser. Rains is a religious bigot and Kaiser took the beliefs of Susan B Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton out of context.

Talking about not having sex or not continuing to have sex once you have started (much harder in my experience) is as much a part of what Sex Out Loud is about as condoms and vibrators.

Very good quote! I am so proud of you for being so outspoken about living our faith this year. I wish I had that much courage!
