Having Fridays off work is great :)
Am at home in my beloved Devon and have had the laziest day! Woke up at 9, pottered about, fell asleep until midday, pottered about some more and ate a ridiculous amount of food merely because it was there. It's nice to actually relax for once and I HAVEN'T HAD A SINGLE CUP OF COFFEE. Given the advanced state of my addiction the past couple of weeks, this is nothing short of a miracle, and the best bit is I'm actually sleepy before 2am!
Not that i'm going to bed yet... that would betray my nocturnal leanings.
Am trying to plan my trip to Scotland, and am wavering between the 'all inclusive equipment hire and food and actual-bed' and 'sod it, i'll stay in a tent and eat grass' approaches. One has the obvious back-to-nature implications, but part of me keeps pointing out that i'll be spending most of the day falling into the loch which is quite close to nature, or at least to coldness.
Hmmmm. Maybe I'll book B&B and take a tent, just in case i get inspired (or, more likely, freaked out by the other residents!)
My little brother will be waking up to the
most physically challenging weekend of his life so far in exactly 4 hours. The fact I did this 9 years ago doesn't make me feel at all old. Nope. Not old.
